The favorite fan film, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, re-introduced the tyrannical villain, Khan Noonen Singh back to the Star Trek mythos, and made the Federation ship U.S.S. Reliant famous.

An impressive addition for every STAR TREK Official Starship collection. This brand new, XL version of the U.S.S. Reliant starship has been carefully recreated in die-cast, high-quality ABS materials, and is approximately 8.5 inches long. The model ship captures the Reliant’s catamaran-like design which endowed the ship with a distinctively sleek but aggressive stance.

The Miranda-class vessels, such as the U.S.S. Reliant, were used primarily for science or supply assignments rather than extended exploration missions. As such, they were equipped with a host of scientific scanners.

Included is a 20-page magazine which features an in-depth profile of the U.S.S. Reliant NCC-1864. It also features details on the Ceti eels that Khan uses to control Chekov, a low-tech effect that involved creating a surprisingly large model of Chekov’s ear, plus loads more.

You can boldly go where no man (or woman) has gone before with this XL edition of the U.S.S. Reliant NCC-1864 Ship.
