The first model to take flight from the new Battlestar Galactica: Official Ships Collection is the colonial fighter, Viper Mark II.

This iconic Battlestar Galactica ship appeared in almost every episode of the renowned 2004 Battlestar Galactica television series aka BSG. Launched from massive Battlestar ships, the Viper Mark II was instrumental in the first Cylon War. Although they were eventually replaced with newer models, a squadron of the space superiority fighters remained on board the Battlestar Galactica and was re-activated to defend the Galactica during its four-year journey to Earth.

This Battlestar Galactica Viper Mark II ship measures over 10-3/4 inches long by 6 inches wide and is brought to life in die-cast metal and high-quality ABS materials. It features the Starbuck call sign and tail number and authentic wear and tear effect. Eaglemoss worked closely with members of the modern Galactica VFX team to ensure that the model is as accurate as possible.

The Classic Viper ship comes complete with a 16-page collector’s magazine providing an in-depth profile of the ship, exclusive behind the scenes articles from one of the best television series ever made, Battlestar Galactica, original design sketches, and an interview with series developer Ronald D. Moore.
