The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-A) was a 23rd century Federation Constitution-class starship operated by Starfleet. This starship was the second Federation ship to bear the name Enterprise. Externally, the Enterprise-A was virtually identical to the refit USS Enterprise, destroyed several months prior to the launch. It appeared in the last three Star Trek: The Original Series films: Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and was ultimately decommissioned in 2293.
The collection features a full range of Federation and alien vessels including seven incarnations of the Enterprise; all the major Klingon vessels including the Bird-of-Prey; Dominion; Borg; and Romulan ships and is slated to include about 110 ships in total.
