This ship has been painstakingly recreated in die-cast and plastic materials then hand painted with an incredible level of detail. The vehicle also comes with a full color collector magazine. Vehicle measures approximately 2-1/4 inches long x 2-1/4 inches wide x 3-1/4 inches tall (mounted on base).

Suliban cell ships were the primary ship types used by the Suliban Cabal during the mid-22nd century. They were armed with particle weapons and equipped with cloaking devices. About the same size as an NX-class starship's shuttlepod, this ship type was used as a one-man fighter and could combine to create a larger structure, such as a helix.

The Enterprise NX-01 captured a small cell ship while rescuing Klaang, a Klingon courier, in April 2151. (as seen in the Enterprise episode "Broken Bow"). Commander Tucker spent months studying the ship, especially its cloaking device, with very little success.

The fully illustrated magazine includes details on how designer John Eaves came up with the look for the unusual Cell Ship, as well as the writers discussing the Suliban and reveal how this mysterious shape-shifting species tied in with the Temporal Cold War storyline.

The collection features a full range of Federation and alien vessels including seven incarnations of the Enterprise; all the major Klingon vessels including the Bird-of-Prey; Dominion; Borg; and Romulan ships and is slated to include about 130 ships in total.
