This ship has been painstakingly recreated in high-quality plastic materials then hand painted with an incredible level of detail. The ship also comes with a full color collector magazine. It measures approximately 5 inches long by 3-7/8 inches wide by 2-1/2 inches tall while mounted on the included stand.

The Romulan Space Vessel was used by the Romulan Star Empire in the mid-24th century to carry out scientific research missions, and to test experimental technologies.

The ship shared many design characteristics with other Romulan vessels of the era. It had a predatory bird-like appearance, and the familiar dark green paint scheme. The head section of the science ship was its most obvious identifying feature, as it differed from the helmet-shaped head that was common to most other Romulan vessels of the time.

The Romulan Science Vessel can be seen in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode 'The Next Phase'.

The fully illustrated magazine provides an in-depth profile of the Romulan Science Vessel as well as featuring a Starfleet-style technical report on the history of Romulan starships, by star trek illustrator and scientific expert Rick Sternbach, and take a look at how this Romulan vessel was created for the screen.

This model is part of the Starships Collection of Star Trek vehicles by Eaglemoss. This incredible collection includes all the most significant ships from the five Star Trek television series. Imported from the U.K. with limited distribution in the U.S., these models are not easy to find for sale in the United States.

The collection features a full range of Federation and alien vessels including seven incarnations of the Enterprise; all the major Klingon vessels including the Bird-of-Prey; Dominion; Borg; and Romulan ships and is slated to include about 160 ships in total.
