This ship has been painstakingly recreated in die-cast and plastic materials then hand painted with an incredible level of detail. The vehicle also comes with a full color collector magazine. Vehicle measures approximately 5-1/4 inches long x 2-3/4 inches wide x 2-1/2 inches tall (mounted on base).

Looming out of the darkness of space, ready to pounce on any unsuspecting victims, the D5 battle cruiser’s outline brought fear into the hearts of anyone unfortunate enough to come across one of these deadly warships.

The D5 class battle cruiser was a type of large warship that was in service with the Klingon Imperial Fleet during the mid-22nd century. In service as early as 2147, the D5-class was fully documented, albeit classified, in the Vulcan database. The D5-class often served patrol duties throughout the Klingon Empire. One vessel of this class served as the personal flagship for high ranking fleet admiral.  In the 2260s, Kor commanded an attack on Caleb IV from the IKS Klothos, a D5-class cruiser.

The fully illustrated magazine includes details on the D5 battle cruiser’s design and specifications as well as an article on the history of the Klingon Empire.

The collection features a full range of Federation and alien vessels including seven incarnations of the Enterprise; all the major Klingon vessels including the Bird-of-Prey; Dominion; Borg; and Romulan ships and is slated to include about 130 ships in total.
