Sir Patrick Stewart is best known as the Captain of the Enterprise--Captain Jean-Luc Picard--on the seven seasons of TV's Star Trek: The Next Generation and the four subsequent feature films. He has also embodied Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men films as well as countless other roles. His film and television credits include Dune, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Conspiracy Theory, Masterminds, Animal Farm, Jimmy Neutron, King of Texas, Gnomeo & Juliet, and American Dad! As a trained actor with the Royal Shakespearean Company, he has performed across the globe in Shakespearean plays like I Claudius, Anthony and Cleopatra, Hamlet, Macbeth and The Tempest.

We can go on and on but Sir Patrick Stewart really needs no further introduction!

He will be appearing Saturday and Sunday allowing for plenty of autograph and photo opportunities. See below for more information including details on a private reception with Sir Patrick!

David Warner

David Warner has appeared in two Star Trek films and a two-part episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He first played the part of Ambassador St. John Talbot in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. In 1991, he returned to the Star Trek franchise to play Klingon chancellor Gorkon in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The following year, he played Cardassian Gul Madred in the TNG episodes "Chain of Command, Part I" and "Part II". Warner has become well-known for his role as the unfortunate Keith Jennings, a photo-journalist who becomes one of the evil Damien's victims, in the classic horror movie The Omen. Another role for which he is remembered is that of Jack the Ripper, opposite Malcolm McDowell's H.G. Wells, in writer/director Nicholas Meyer's acclaimed 1979 science fiction adventure Time After Time. For his performance in this film, Warner was nominated for a Saturn Award from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. Since then, he has become well identified with villainous roles, typically in "genre" films. In the 1980s alone he played: the role of the "Evil Genius" in Terry Gilliam's sci-fi comedy Time Bandits; the villainous ENCOM executive Ed Dillinger, his evil creation, Sark, and voiced the Master Control Program in the Disney's 1982 cult sci-fi film Tron; mad scientist Alfred Necessiter in the 1983 sci-fi comedy The Man with Two Brains; and a demented vampire hunter determined to kill the young protagonist in the 1988 horror comedy My Best Friend is a Vampire. With almost 200 credits to his name, we could only list a few. Please visit his IMDb page to review his extensive credits list or visit his official website at www.davidwarnerfilm.co.uk.

He will be appearing Saturday and Sunday allowing for plenty of autograph and photo opportunities. Mr. Warner will also be attending our celebrity banquet!

Jewel Staite

Jewel Staite’s most memorable role has been “Kaylee”, the beloved mechanic on Fox’s “Firefly”, which later became the major motion picture “Serenity”, in which Jewel reprised her role. Since then, she starred as the deliciously hateful character “Heidi” in Bryan Fuller’s “Wonderfalls, as well as “Dr. Jennifer Keller” in Syfy’s “Stargate: Atlantis”. Born in White Rock, British Columbia, Jewel Staite knew she was destined for the screen at the tender age of six. Her first calling was fashion, but as most fashion executives are prejudiced against six year old designers, she decided to temporarily move into the acting field. A dozen commercials, made-for-television movies, and guest starring roles later, she appeared as the spunky Saturnian alien “Catalina” in the short-lived sci-fi series “Space Cases”, on Nickelodeon. Numerous television appearances followed, including a lead role in “Flash Forward”, starring Ben Foster, as well as “Higher Ground” with Hayden Christensen, and several recurring roles on “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!”, Canada’s “Da Vinci’s Inquest”, and NBC’s “Just Deal” to name just a few.

She will be appearing Saturday and Sunday allowing for plenty of autograph and photo opportunities.

Armin Shimerman

Armin Shimerman is best known for his role as Quark on the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, as Principal Snyder on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and as Pascal on the series Beauty and the Beast.  Shimerman was also the first actor to play a Ferengi in the Star Trek universe playing "Letek" on the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Last Outpost." He also played the Gift-Box Face in the episode “Haven” and DaiMon Bractor in “Peak Performance”.  A skilled character actor, Shimerman has hundreds of TV credits to his name with early guests appearances on Hillstreet Blues, Remington Steel, The Paper Chase, Alien Nation, Seinfeld, Stargate SG-1, Alley McBeal, The Practice, Charmed and Boston Public. More recently he appeared on episodes of Boston Legal, Numb3rs & Warehouse 13.  His theatrical credits greatly outnumber his TV and voiceover work.  Look for more details coming soon on a new play which he will perform at our event with Max Grodénchik!

He will be appearing Saturday and Sunday allowing for plenty of autograph and photo opportunities.

Max Grodénchik

Max Grodénchik is best known for his role as Rom on the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Rom made several appearances throughout  the seven-year run of Deep Space Nine. A failure as a businessman but a mechanical genius, he worked as a waiter for several years at Quark's Bar, Grill, Gaming House and Holosuite Arcade on Deep Space 9 before becoming an engineer in the Bajoran Militia. He eventually succeeded Zek as Grand Nagus of Ferenginar.  Prior to landing the role as Rom, he had already made a couple of appearances in the Star Trek universe as Sovak and Par Lenor in Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes "Captain's Holiday" and "The Perfect Mate".  Grodénchik has made several guest appearances on hit TV shows and films such as Apollo 13 and Bruce Almighty to a recent appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Max also dabbles in singing, songwriting as well as play writing.  Look for more details coming soon on his new play which will be performed at our event!

He will be appearing Saturday and Sunday allowing for plenty of autograph and photo opportunities.

David Nykl

David Nykl is known to sci-fi fans as the recurring character on Stargate Atlantis, Dr. Radek Zelenka, a scientist from the Czech Republic and a member of the original expedition from Earth to the Ancient city of Atlantis in the Pegasus galaxy. His expertise on Ancient technology is only surpassed by Dr. Rodney McKay, with whom he shares a friendly rivalry. Nykl's planned one-time appearance in the season 1 episode "Thirty-Eight Minutes" was followed by a recurring role for expository scenes with McKay and the leader of the expedition. Nykl has since appeared in approximately half of each season's episodes and also appeared in the crossover episode "The Pegasus Project" of Stargate SG-1. The series finale of Atlantis, "Enemy at the Gate", marked his last appearance. For his portrayal of Radek Zelenka, David Nykl was nominated for a 2005 Leo Award in the category "Dramatic Series: Best Supporting Performance by a Male". Nykl has also made several guest appearances on television including Human Target, Fringe, Eureka, and Sanctuary.

He will be appearing Saturday and Sunday allowing for plenty of autograph and photo opportunities.

Grace Lee Whitney

Grace Lee Whitney is a versatile actress and vocalist born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Beginning as a "girl singer" on Detroit's WJR radio, she soon opened in clubs for the likes of Billie Holiday and Buddy Rich, and toured with the Spike Jones Band. Grace debuted on Broadway in "Top Banana", and subsequently appeared in the United Artists film Top Banana (1954). Throughout the 50's and 60's she made several guest appearances on hit TV shows like, Bat Masterson, Gunsmoke, The Rifleman, The Untouchables, 77 Sunset Strip, The Outer Limits, and Batman to name a few. Grace is probably best known for her portrayal of Janice Rand in the original Star Trek series. She reprised the roll in the Star Trek feature films and the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Flashback".

She will be appearing Saturday and Sunday allowing for plenty of autograph and photo opportunities.

Phil Morris

Phil Morris' first acting role was as a child when he appeared in the 1966 Star Trek episode "Miri". Star Trek was, at the time, shot at the same studio that produced Mission: Impossible, where his father was working. He made his feature film debut in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock in a small role and later guest-starred on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. In the mid-80s, he portrayed law student (later attorney) Tyrone Jackson on the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless. In the 90's, Morris played a recurring character, the Johnnie Cochran-inspired defense attorney Jackie Chiles, on the hit-comedy Seinfeld. Also in the 90's, Morris co-starred in the remake of Mission: Impossible as tech wizard Grant Collier (son of Barney Collier, who was played in the original series by Morris' real-life father Greg Morris). Morris voiced the supporting role of Dr. Sweet in Disney's 2001 film Atlantis: The Lost Empire as well as its 2003 sequel, Atlantis: Milo's Return. In the January 25, 2007, episode of the The CW television series Smallville, Morris also portrayed the DC Comics superhero The Martian Manhunter/John Jones, which became a recurring character in the series. He reprised that role on the show's sixth season finale as well as the episodes "Bizarro" and "Cure" in the seventh season and the episodes "Odyssey", "Prey" and "Bulletproof" in the eighth season. He reprised this role in the ninth season episodes "Absolute Justice", "Checkmate" and "Salvation". As a voice actor, he portrayed the villains Imperiex on Legion of Superheroes, and as the Immortal Caveman Vandal Savage on Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. Though largely unnoticed, Morris also was the voice of Paul the Apostle in Zondervan's The Bible Experience. He played the voice of the character 'Doc Saturday' in the animated show The Secret Saturdays. He also played a major supporting role in the PlayStation 2 game Ratchet: Deadlocked, Merc, one of the combat bots that accompany Ratchet during his journey. He also voiced the character of "Thurgood Stubbs" on the animated show The PJs, after Eddie Murphy's departure.

He will be appearing Saturday and Sunday allowing for plenty of autograph and photo opportunities.

Jennifer Hetrick

Jennifer Hetrick played the recurring role of Vash, Picard’s love interest in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes "Captain's Holiday" and "Qpid". She reprised her role for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Q-Less" in 1993. Ms. Hetrick also appeared in numerous other science-fiction and fantasy series including The X-Files, Sliders, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and is also remembered for her recurring role on L.A. Law. More recently she appeared on 24, Prison Break, Cold Case, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Close to Home and Alias.

She will be appearing Saturday and Sunday allowing for plenty of autograph and photo opportunities.

Richard Hatch

Richard Hatch is best known for portraying the role of Captain Apollo in the original Battlestar Galactica, as well as his attempts to revive the series, notably in the form of his promotional trailer, Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming, and his various novels. He would later portray Tom Zarek in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica in 2005, making him the only Original Series actor to also appear in the Re-imagined Series.

The Colonial Cylon Alliance

Mr. Hatch’s appearance is sponsored by The Colonial Cylon Alliance. Stop by and check out their amazing booth display complete with full sized Cylons who will be roaming the convention areas. Mr. Hatch will be signing at their booth in the main foyer throughout the weekend.

With Guest Illustrators, Authors, & Panelists

Rick Sternbach

Rick Sternbach is an Emmy and Hugo award winning illustrator who is best known for his space illustrations and his work on the Star Trek television series. He served as the senior illustrator/ designer for Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. Sternbach created the designs for several studio models, including the Intrepid-class USS VOYAGER and, with Herman Zimmerman, the Deep Space Nine Station just to name a few. He was also responsible for designing hundreds of props and set pieces, including the mural painting of the Enterprise-D in Picard's ready room as well as weaponry, PADDs, tricorders and communicators for Starfleet, Klingon, Romulan, Cardassian, Bajoran, Kazon, Ferengi, and other races. As scenic artist for Star Trek Nemesis, he provided designs for everything from the Argo shuttle to a Romulan Valdore-type sculpture. Together with Michael Okuda, he served as a technical consultant to the writing staff, maintaining technical and chronological continuity and inventing scientific terms and technobabble. Sternbach is also the co-author of the Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual, Star Trek: The Next Generation USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D Blueprints all of which were published by Pocket Books.  Other projects include his Emmy award winning work on Carl Sagan's Cosmos: A Personal Voyage series, The Last Starfighter and Steven Soderbergh's Solaris.

He will be appearing Saturday and Sunday hosting a few panels and participating in a Q&A session.

Larry Nemecek

Larry Nemecek, after years as a Star Trek author, editor, archivist, interviewer, producer and consultant, now simply tells people, “I work in Trekland.” You probably know him from years as managing editor of Star Trek Communicator, or author of the TNG Companion from Pocket Books and others. Now, he’s currently helming his first film project, The Con of Wrath—a documentary preserving the wild and human story behind fandom’s greatest “meltdown turned miracle,” the 1982 Houston “Ultimate Fantasy” mega-Star Trek show. Of course, TREKLAND is also the name of his blog at larrynemecek.com, which holds not only his archives and photo galleries but his latest posts and video chats with Treklanders of all stripes: actors, designers, writers, licensees, and fans too! Other projects are the original Star Trek: The Experience, the World Tour and such … consulting and commentary for the DVDs … his two columns for the Titan Star Trek magazines since 1998, now sold in the US, or as a content producer for both the original and revamped startrek.com, or the guts of the long-running Star Trek Fact Files. Suffice to say, Larry‘s seen a lot come and go in Trekland from his front-row seat in Hollywood—which he shares in tales and humor at his convention talks, both here and abroad. He’s been in the fandom trenches, too, crewing SoonerCon and founding ThunderCon back in his native Oklahoma.

He will be appearing Saturday and Sunday hosting a few panels and participating in a Q&A session.

Lolita Fatjo

Lolita Fatjo spent 15 years working in the writing department for Star Trek: TNG, DS9, Voyager and the first 2 TNG movies.  She started off as an assistant to the writers/producers but quickly moved into the position of script coordinator. During her time there, Star Trek had an open script submission policy. Anyone could send in a script in the hopes of having it produced.  Part of her dudies there was to help process the 13,000 plus scripts that the department received throughout the years. She joins us not only as a panelist and guest but as "Manager to the Stars." For the past 13 years she has represented several celebrities including a few of our guests this weekend. Lolita will be hosting a panel titled "The Past, Present and Future of Star Trek". She's an old friend and is thrilled to be back here in Florida!

Glenda C. Finkelstein

Author - Glenda C. Finkelstein has a wide and varied career as a writer having published song lyrics, human-interest articles, poems, short stories, novels, and screenplays. Her interest in writing was not just a happenstance having a great-grandfather who was a wonderful poet, and aunts and uncles who nurtured her imagination. Inspired by the legendary J.R.R. Tolkien, this art form was a natural course for her to take. She has written one historical novel, but her heart lies mostly with the Science Fiction and Fantasy genre’s where her imagination can soar unhindered. Her writing has won her several awards, and is branching off into new uncharted territories. Her latest novel, “Nemesis Returns,” was published by Aisling Press and marks her sixth book. In addition to her writing, she has ventured into the arena of acting. She voices six of her female characters in the audio adaptation of her novel, “Nemesis Rising,”. The audio version of “The Edge of The Universe” is currently available for podcast on her website at www.glendas-books.com. She also took on the starring role of, Angel Gibbs, in the 33-minute short subject film, “Perfect Copy,” for which she wrote the screenplay. It was nominated for Best Dramatic Short at the Melbourne Independent Filmakers Festival in November 2007.

William Hatfield

Author - William Hatfield is a local musician turned author. His first novel Captive Audience, rated 4.7 out of 5 stars on Amazon.com. Mr. Hatfield will be joining us to promote his new novel Duel Roles, also available at Amazon.com, which is already receiving excellent reviews.

K.L. Nappier

Author - K.L. Nappier. Fast-paced action and smart, stylish writing are the hallmarks of K.L. Nappier's speculative thrillers, mysteries and dark fiction. Some call her style eclectic; some call it cross-over. Moving between genres may keep her books out of the mainstream, but once you've discovered her, you'll realize what thousands of readers already know, and why critics think she's one of the best authors writing independent fiction.

William_Mize

Author - William Mize made publishing history when his novel "Resurrection Angel" was nominated by the Private Eye Writers of America for one of their highest honors, The Shamus Award for Best First Novel of The Year, making it the first Print on Demand book ever to be nominated for a major publishing award. In 2006, he returned to the Print On Demand arena, to bring “Resurrection Angel” and the second book in the series, “Everlasting Life” to the marketplace. With gorgeous new designed matching covers, and a third book “Spear of Destiny” coming soon, it marks the triumphant return of a great mystery writer and inspiration for a new generation of writers who want to use the internet and up to date technology to bring their works to life. William Mize currently lives in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he is at work on the next book in the planned twelve book series.

Chris Berman

Author and lecturer Chris Berman might be considered “the accidental author”. While recovering from a bicycle versus SUV accident, he wrote his first novel, The Hive. The Hive invaded American and United Kingdom bookstores in February of 2009. After completing this book, he wrote RED MOON followed by STAR PIRATES which has just been released and a new work, DAS BELL, is awaiting publication. Berman grew up as a young boy on a diet of science fiction from authors such as Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke and John Campbell. Later, he added others, such as Alan Dean Foster, Ben Bova, Larry Niven, Jerry Pournelle, Eric Flint, Harry Turtledove and James P. Hogan to his list of favorites. Science fiction was not his only passion, so was science fact. As a boy, he lived a few blocks down from a serious amateur astronomer. This man taught him about the stars and planets as well as how to photograph astronomical events and grind his own mirrors and lenses to make telescopes. He is also a spaceflight enthusiast with a good deal of expertise in both the US and Russian space programs.

Tye Bourdony

Artist -Tye Bourdony is a name some of you out there may be familiar with. A life-long sci-fi fan, Tye is also a free-lance cartoonist and a convention circuit regular, best known for his 'The Lighter Side of Sci-Fi' comic strip, which pokes fun at everything from 'Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century' to 'Star Trek', from 'Star Wars' to 'Battlestar Gallactica', often mixing and matching series and stars to create bizarre and often hilarious cartoons - even 'The Jetsons' has been known to make a shoe-in. Creating sci-fi satires for over ten years now, Tyes' work has been published in several magazines such as Starlog, Parsec Magazine, The Star Trek Communicator, Cracked and most recently Sci-Fi Magazine just to name a few. We are thrilled to announce the release to Tye's first book "The Lighter Side of Sci-fi - The Complete Collection. Tye was scheduled to appear at our last event but at the last minute he had a scheduling conflict and couldn't not attend. We are happy to hear that he will be joining us this year.

Sci-Fried

Musical Guest - Sci-Fried - Formed in early 2008 out of a love for science fiction and rock music, they began writing parodies of popular songs with the flavor of their favorite movies and TV shows. Once they began performing live at conventions and other venues, they noticed that people really liked what they were doing. This led to cutting a demo CD for free distribution. Demand for their first CD was overwhelming. They soon found themselves in the studio working on two new projects: a brand new, all-parody album “Ramming Speed”, and a debut all-original album “Geeks Unite”. Sci-Fried is a rock band that is influenced by fans of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. They will be performing several tracks from their new CD "Future Tense". - Appearing Friday evening 10:30 PM! Free admission to anyone with a convention ticket (Friday only tickets are just $20!). Visit Sci-Fried at www.Sci-Friedband.com.

Master of Ceremonies

Marc B. Lee - Our MC!

MC Marc B. Lee is an international Show Host and Auctioneer for a number of events around the world. He was absolutely wonderful as host of our first event in May 2010 and we are thrilled to have him back on board with us. He has been a science fiction fan for over 30 years and his specialized brand of humor and energy has ignited the excitement of every convention-hosting job from here to Europe. Marc’s association with many actors & behind the scenes artists has kept his wit and knowledge on edge and he takes his responsibilities as a party-rouser and pitch man very seriously, realizing how much the average person pays to be entertained. He has worked with well over 300 sci-fi celebrities. After being hired by movie director Dean Devlin and TNT to organize and host a convention in Portland, Oregon based on the television show LEVERAGE, Marc is ready for his next assignment. We are thrilled that Marc was available to join us once again!

We are sad to announce that Sherry Jackson will not be attending our event.

Event Overview

Location

Hilton Orlando Resort Lake Buena Vista

We are so excited to announce that Away Mission: Orlando will take place at the Hilton Orlando Resort in the heart of the Walt Disney Resort within walking distance of Downtown Disney!

Hilton Orlando Resort Lake Buena Vista
1751 Hotel Plaza Boulevard, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830
Tel: 1-800-782-4414

OK, now I know what you are thinking. Wow, that is a pretty luxurious 4-star hotel. Can we afford it? Well hold on to those pointy little ears folks. We have secured an incredible deal for our guests. Room nights are only $99 per night with NO RESORT FEES! This is an absolutely unheard of price for this caliber of hotel. You will not find a lower price for this hotel anywhere else, including the "discount" hotel web sites where you would have to make a non refundable prepayment of your entire hotel stay. Plus, normally the Hilton would charge an additional $10 per day for parking but we have also had this price reduced to just $6 per day, just for our patrons!

Wow, what an incredible opportunity to stay at a Disney Resort hotel and enjoy all of the perks for such a low price. Ah, yes, I said perks! The Hilton offers several perks and details are available on their web site but here are a couple that really stand out. If you stay at the Hilton, you will have access to discounted tickets to all the Disney attractions. You will also be eligible for Extra Magic Hours – Each day one of the Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to an extra three hours, so guests of the Hilton have the opportunity to get extra time in the parks. This terrific feature allows guests to enjoy the Theme Parks at a relaxed pace and to take advantage of their complimentary transportation to any of the Disney theme parks and Downtown Disney. It is one of the most exciting and innovative ways to see the Disney Theme Parks:

- With so much to see and do, make the most of your vacation with shorter lines.

- Enjoy after hours easy access to some of the most popular attractions.

- Make your day more relaxing by doing everything at an easy, relaxed pace.

OK, so I know what you are thinking again (remember I can do that Vulcan mind meld thingy). Vulcan Events provide such a full schedule that I won't have time to enjoy the theme parks. Well, the Hilton has agreed to extend our incredible $99 rate up to 3 days before and 3 days after our event. Bring your family and friends a few days early or stay a few extra nights and enjoy all the benefits the Hilton has to offer at your own pace.

Another great benefit of staying at our host hotel: as many of you know, our events go on late into the evening Friday and Saturday nights. Not to mention that our celebrity guests have been known to hang out and have fun with their fans at the hotel bar or restaurant. Just ask the guys who enjoyed Long Island Iced Tea's with Christopher Lloyd late into the evening or those who watched the hockey game with Michael Shanks at the sports bar or even a few who worked out with Casper Van Dien at the hotel's gym. Think of all the experiences that you'd miss out. Why would you stay anywhere else!

We must warn you that the hotel will be at full occupancy that weekend. They were holding a block of rooms for our group but that block is now gone. They may still be able to accommodate you but not for much longer. To make your reservations dial 1-800-782-4414. Don't forget to mention our group code "VUL" or Vulcan Events - Away Mission: Orlando. You may also reserve online by visiting our customized RESERVATION PAGE. NOT ALL ROOM TYPES ARE LISTED ONLINE - CALL THE RESERVATION NUMBER FOR MORE OPTIONS - Don't hesitate and reserve today! OUR ENTIRE ROOM BLOCK IS ALREADY GONE but they may still be able to squeeze you in!

As most of you who are familiar with our events know, we cater our shows to give you that personal, intimate experience. We are thrilled to announce that for the first time in the United States, Sir Patrick Stewart has agreed to a private, intimate cocktail reception. In order to make this an experience you will never forget, we are limiting attendance to just 50 patrons. Sir Patrick will sit with small groups throughout the reception, making sure to speak to everyone in attendance. In order to maintain a relaxed atmosphere so everyone feels comfortable, we ask that you please respect Sir Patrick's personal space and not monopolize his time. Photos and autographs will not be allowed during the reception; there will be several opportunities throughout the weekend for photo ops and autographs.

Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. A cash bar will be available as well.

  • Sir Patrick Stewart Reception - $199

This meet and greet is not included in any admission ticket package. An admission ticket to the convention is required in order to purchase a ticket to the meet and greet.

Saturday Night All-Star Gala and Banquet Dinner

All-Star Gala Buffet!

Treat yourself to dinner and a show!  Featuring performances from your favorite stars and a great dinner, our All-Star Gala and Banquet promises to be a great time.

Our dinners are buffet-style with multiple selections and trips to the buffet. In order to keep the event casual, no cameras will be allowed. Our staff photographer will come around and photograph each table with the celebrity guest in attendance. Each attendee will receive an 8x10 photo of their group/table with their celebrity dinner guest.

We are working on the details and more information will be available in the coming months.  Stay tuned for updates!  Since seating is limited, we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to add-on their banquet ticket before they run out.

For those patrons that haven't bought admission tickets, keep in mind that banquet seating will be based on the order in which you purchase your admission ticket. So order early for the best selection!

All-Star Gala and Banquet - $89 -- ORDER NOW!

Please note all of our celebrity guests will be in attendance except for Sir Patrick Stewart.

Additional Activities

There is so much more to see and do at Vulcan Events Conventions that sleep is just an option! This time around we are planning even MORE fun stuff, if that’s even possible! Friday’s schedule is now loaded with panels ranging from model and prop building to real space exploration, tips on how to develop your idea into a fleshed out novel and how to get that novel published and much much more. We are also working on a theatrical presentation by some of our attending celebrities. A film room running some rare videos as well as some of your favorites. Don’t forget Rocky Horror at midnight! Our dealers’ room is also open for you early bird shoppers! Folks, that’s just on Friday afternoon! Saturday is the busiest day with activities that run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 AM Sunday morning! With celebrity hosted functions all weekend long including a banquet dinner, a dessert party, and perhaps even a luncheon and of course, all of our guests will host Q&A sessions, sign autographs and pose for photo ops. Don’t forget our autograph and collectables auctions, our Halloween themed dance party and so much more! Vulcan Events gives you the most access to our celebrity guests than any other event. Nothing in Florida compares to us! We offer the big name guests you want to see with the intimate fan friendly environment that is really missed from the enormous comic book and media conventions these days.
